Current Series: We have launched! We’re now taking our first steps on our faith adventure journey to fulfill the vision, Expanding Our Territory, Together! There are hurting and lost people all around us. Jesus calls us to extend love to those who are in our various networks of relationships: friends, co-workers, classmates, teammates, neighbors, and family. We cast out our lines of care through an activity Jesus describes as “fishing for people”. We will discover the role Jesus intends for us to play in drawing in people to Christ as a natural part of our lives. This week’s message is entitled, Fish Guts ~ Pastor Paul

February 25
Contagious Christian Seminar 8:00 AM – 3:00 PM – The Becoming A Contagious Christian course helps ordinary Christians develop confidence and skills that enable them to effectively share the Gospel with people they know. Designed especially for those who think evangelism is not for them, this curriculum is a powerful tool for equipping those in our entire church to naturally communicate our faith in a way that’s contagious.
Cost is $16 per person for lunch and a participants guide or if you prefer to bring your own lunch the cost is $8. Register at the Information Center or by contacting the Church Office (office@oakwoodfl.org or 813-969-2303).

February 25
PowerHouse Work Day, 9:00 AM – 12:00 PM. A chance to serve our church family and community. We’ll leave the church at 9:00 to serve those who can use some PowerHouse strength and encouragement. Bring cash if you want to go out to CiCi’s (Citrus Park) for lunch after a morning of working. Adults are welcome to come!

February 26
Elder led Prayer Time – This is take place right after the morning Worship Service. The prayer time will last for 30 minutes and will be focused on the challenges of our goals for this year and next. Please join us as we ask God for great things and expect that He will answer.

General Announcements

March 2
HEY TREEHOUSE PARENTS!!! We have a lot of exciting things going on in TreeHouse! The next big thing is Friday, March 2. We are having a Family Fun Night and it is FREE. We have the opportunity to see the newest presentation from Veggie Tales, Robin Good and His Not-So-Merry Men. There will be prizes to be won; snacks to be eaten; and a movie to enjoy! Everything starts at 7 PM in the south room of TreeHouse. Plan on being with us and joining in the fun.

March 11—18
Service/Ministry Opportunity
PowerHouse Spring Break Service/Ministry Trip. All PowerHouse students are invited to take part in a service/ministry trip to do work projects at Cedine Ministries in Spring City, Tennessee. Cedine is a Christian Outreach/Discipleship Camp for Inner City Youth. This trip will led by Luke Piazza. If any parent has questions they can contact Luke by phone 813-451-4265 or by email, lukepiazza@yahoo.com.
The total cost of the trip is $60. Students can earn Community Service hours for helping with this ministry project. For more details on the trip see the Fact Sheet available in PowerHouse or contact Luke. Get trip details from the handout in PowerHouse.

Returning Hearts Celebration
We will be returning to Angola Prison in Louisiana May 17-20, 2012 to participate in a day of celebration for inmates and their children. Sponsored by AWANA, this is a day for inmates to play and pray with their kids. We will join with many others as sponsors and chaperones for the day. Please pray about participating. Details coming soon.
