My Hope America with Billy Graham is a nationwide effort to reach people across the United States with the Gospel of Jesus Christ. Following a simple biblical model, My Hope America with Billy Graham combines the impact of video programs with the power of personal relationships. Under the guidance of their local pastors, Christians across America will open their homes to share the Gospel message with friends, family, colleagues, and neighbors using videos featuring Billy Graham, dynamic music, and testimonies.

How do I participate in “My Hope for America with Billy Graham?

Invite – Invite your friends and neighbors who don’t know Jesus Christ to your home for a meal or dessert–or gather them at your church or favorite hangout.

Watch – Use a TV Broadcast, DVD, laptop, or mobile device to show a special program featuring popular music, real-life stories, and a powerful new message from Billy Graham.

Share – Next, briefly share how Jesus gave you hope and tell what He is doing in your life today.

Ask – Ask your friends if they would like to make the same decision you did to receive Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior and pray with them.

Sunday Morning Education Classes @ 9:15 am:

• Nursery (infant up to 2 years old)
• TreeHouse Children’s Ministry (ages 2 through 5th grade)
• PowerHouse Youth’s Ministry (6th grade through 12th grade)
• Adult Education Classes

Sunday Evening: from 5:30pm – 7:00pm – PowerHouse Teens Ministry – Worship, Bible teaching, small groups and team building activities for our Middle and High School teens. Some events will be combined, but we are targeting focused ministry to a Middle School group and High School group.

They were filled with such joy, they didn’t know what to say.
They remembered nothing of what had happened earlier that day.
“Where are we?” asked a little girl, as quiet as a mouse.
“This is heaven.” declared a small boy. “We’re spending Christmas at God’s house.”

When what to their wondering eyes did appear,
But Jesus, their Savior, the children gathered near.
He looked at them and smiled, and they smiled just the same.
Then He opened His arms, He called them by name.

And in that moment was joy that only His presence can bring
Those children all flew into the arms of their King
And as they lingered in the warmth of His embrace,
One small girl turned and looked at Jesus’ face.

And as if He could read all the questions she had
He gently whispered to her, “I’ll take care of mom and dad.”
Then He looked down on earth, the world far below
He saw all of the hurt, the sorrow, and woe

Then He closed His eyes and stretched out His hand,
“My power and presence is still in this land!”
“If these people would seek me and not listen to fools”
“I will heal their nation. I will be present in their schools!”

Then He and the children stood up without a sound.
“Come now my children, let me show you around.”
Excitement filled the space, some skipped and some ran.
All displaying the enthusiasm that only a small child can.

And I heard Him proclaim as He walked out of sight,
“In the midst of this darkness, I AM STILL THE LIGHT.”

Whether you are just curious, somewhat interested, or ready for more involvement, your leaders would like to connect with you more personally and convey to you our vision and core convictions.  We’d also like to help you grasp how you can be a more fully engaged player in what God is doing through Oakwood and consider if membership is God’s plan for you. We also welcome any members who desire a refresher.

We want to assure you that Discovering Oakwood does not obligate you to become a member, though you will fill us with joy if you choose to do so.

In the words of one of Jesus’ earliest followers, I invite you to come and see for yourself just who Jesus is.  We’re going to journey through the opening chapters of John’s extraordinary Gospel.  As we do so, we won’t be just studying a book, nor merely learning about a person, we will be meeting The Man Himself.  For those of us who’ve already met Him, we’ll marvel at His awesomeness as we get know Him better. This will be an especially great series for you to invite a friend to explore with you.  ~ Pastor Paul
