Gospel Transformation Worksheet

As believers are transformed by the gospel we increasingly become agents of transformation where God has placed us (Acts 17:26-27). We are “blessed to be a blessing.” As God’s salt and light (Matt. 5:13-16), we should have an influence on the people around us and the places we go. This gospel influence can be enhanced when two or more believers work together to lovingly serve and boldly share the good news in the same place or with the same group of people over time. Think of a farmer entering a field to cultivate it and sow seed for a future harvest.

The Gospel Transformation Worksheet is a tool for leaders to periodically evaluate the fruitfulness of their group or ministry. To what extent are the following ministry priorities being accomplished?

Priorities:

  1. Prayerfully prepare the soil of loving relationships
  2. Purposefully plant seeds of gospel truth
  3. Gracefully grow the fruit of the Spirit by abiding in Christ and training disciples
  4. Patiently prune away distractions to maximize kingdom impact
  5. Regularly reproduce gospel leaders to extend kingdom ministry into new fields

“As for what was sown on good soil, this is the one who hears the word and understands it. He indeed bears fruit and yields, in one case a hundredfold, in another sixty, and in another thirty.”

Matthew 13:23

Our desire is to be as fruitful as possible for the kingdom of God! The Spiritual Life Worksheet is for individuals to prayerfully evaluate and seek to enhance their own fruitfulness. This Gospel Transformation Worksheet is for leaders, groups and ministry teams.
