God is our Father; we are His children. Sometimes we can lose sight of the profound significance of these truths. Consider what it means that you are a child of God! Relationship, love, security, blessing… Remember when people brought their little children to Jesus? The disciples tried to keep them away! But Jesus not only welcomed the little ones, he commanded His followers to learn from the simple faith of children. “Whoever does not receive the kingdom of God like a child shall not enter it.” Come be challenged in your religious assumptions and be encouraged by the glorious truth of the gospel! What makes you worthy of God’s love? Read Isaiah 43:1-4 along with Luke 18 and remember that salvation is 100% the work of God that we receive with simple, childlike faith.
