What to Expect:

Our Worship Service is a moderate contemporary style – a celebration of Jesus that is fresh and relevant while rooted in Scripture and focused on the Gospel. Dress is casual – wear whatever is comfortable for you! The worship service is usually around one hour.

Oakwood is a community of Christ followers, so you will meet a lot of people when you come – from greeters at the doors to helpful volunteers at our Information Center and many others just coming to church. What About My Child?

Programs for infants through 5th graders are available during our 10:30 am worship service. One parent should bring the kids directly to TreeHouse, the third building (last on your right as you come in) to check in at the Welcome Center there.

Our desire as a church is to encourage and support parents as they raise their kids to know, love and follow Jesus. All our children’s volunteers are screened, trained and supervised – rest assured that your child will be safe and have fun learning about Jesus while you enjoy the worship and fellowship.

We offer a high energy Youth Ministry for Middle and High School students every Sunday night from 5-7 p.m. We encourage teenagers to attend the worship service with their parents so they can make church attendance a habit while they are still young.
