The church is not a building or a program, rather it is a people (1 Peter 2:9). The New Testament church was characterized by local assemblies of believers, gifted individually by the Holy Spirit, mutually ministering to one another and to the world around them.

At Oakwood we are a body of believers ministering to one another.

  • Gifted men and women doing the work of ministry (Ephesians 4:11-16)
  • Faithful men and women who are reaching out and discipling others (2 Timothy 2:2)

Here at Oakwood, we believe…Every Member is a Minister!
