Peace in the Storm - Psalm 1 ()

The first Psalm sets the tone for the whole prayer book of the people of God. It presents a vivid contrast of lifestyles and outcomes. There is a life that God blesses (v. 1) and a life that ends in death and destruction (v. 6). The Psalm describes three commitments to find blessing in the Lord: 1) ensure your closest friends are godly people; 2) treasure God’s Word and; 3) do the right thing. Then the promises of satisfaction, protection and vindication from the Lord will be fulfilled for you!
