We are very excited to start 2018 with a new sermon series called Keep Moving Forward. We will spend most of the first quarter in Romans 8, meditating on the Gospel and how it is the power of God for our salvation and our growth in Christ. Worship is the fuel of missions and the Gospel is the fuel of worship.
To supplement our study of Romans 8, we are encouraging everyone to sign up for a Momentum Bible Study. Click here to read a summary of the content. You will enjoy hearing from Pastor Colin Smith, a godly and wise Scottish preacher Pastor Darin was honored to serve under and learn from while he was in Chicago.
This 8 week video based discussion follows the Beatitudes as God’s road map to a blessed life. “The Beatitudes don’t tell you how to become a Christian, they tell you what a true Christian looks like.” They show us a process we can follow, continually throughout our lives, to make progress as followers of Jesus. And it involves building momentum in our walk with Him.
Please contact the designated leader for more information or to sign up to be a part of their group. Workbooks will be available for $10 each on Sunday mornings, 12/31/17 and 1/7/18. Couples are welcome to share one book or buy two as space for written answers in each workbook is somewhat limited.
