Oakwood will be participating in an evangelism campaign October 19-27 that seeks to engage all of Hillsborough County with the Gospel through a partnership of like-minded churches! It is called Revive Florida and is an effort that has already been used of God in several other states. Click here to see how they use the worldless book to share the Gospel in a clear and simple way. Be praying that the Lord will prepare hearts in the Bay area and draw many to Christ through this cooperative effort!
Here is how you can get involved:
- Pray that the Lord will prepare hearts and bring many to saving faith
- Open your home to host an evangelist / trainer from out of town
- Help serve breakfast on Monday 10/22
- Spend some or all of Tuesday 10/23 sharing the Gospel in our part of town
- Attend the evening rally on 10/23 to be connected with a new believer as a disciple-maker for one year
- Serve with children (if you’re already screened and trained at Oakwood) so new believers can come to the rally with their kids
- Contact Pastor Darin to help with any of these things!

In October, Revive will meet at The Crossing Church every morning and night. We will then be at a different church every day at noon as we rotate through 6 regions across Hillsborough County.

We have been praying for the Lord to send laborers into the harvest! Our prayer is that He would continue to build our Church partners in Hillsborough County as we get closer to October. Why? So that an army of the Lord is raised up to engage the community with the Gospel in a way that has possibly never been done before in this region. The time is now for the laborers to be trained, equipped and sent!
