The God Who Sees: The Story of Hagar

Hagar’s story is raw and real. She’s caught in someone else’s bad decision, treated poorly, and then pushed out. But she’s also not innocent, she responds with pride and bitterness. Still, God finds her. He doesn’t wait for her to apologize or get it together. She meets her in the middle of her confusion and calls her by name. The first person in Scripture to name God is a pregnant runaway slave. Why? Because He’s the God who sees.
