24. The Return of Christ

The return of Christ is our blessed hope. We are commanded in 1 Thessalonians 5:18 to “encourage one another with” words of His return and our being gathered to Him. It is not for us to know the timing of His return and there are many questions around the sequence of events that will precede that event. But some things are rock-solid certain: 1) Jesus is coming back soon; 2) When He appears, it will be glorious; 3) He will defeat all of His enemies with a simple word of command and then; 4) He will make all things new. Come be encouraged and lift your voice to join the heavenly song, singing praise to “The King of kings and Lord of lords!”
