14. Gospel Future

The gospel is good news for our past, present and future. Jesus is the Redeemer and Restorer of all things! He will restore the world beyond even the original goodness of Eden. Right now the whole creation groans under the effects of sin. But one day all sin will be removed from us when we are glorified – the image of Jesus perfectly realized in us. On that day, when our redemption is finally completed, the full restoration of the world will also take place, and the joy of that moment will so outshine our present suffering that it’s not even worth comparing the two!
