6. The Grace of Giving

We often think of financial giving as a sacrifice. But Paul presents giving as a gift of grace that brings the giver as many benefits as it provides for the recipient. And that should make sense, because whenever we are like the Lord Jesus – who gave his life away in order to receive all of us – we experience the blessings of fellowship with Him. Come be reminded that giving is first of all an act of worship. Remember that giving is a gift of grace to you even as it is a gift of grace through you – to experience joy, love and growth. So let’s learn to give boldly, freely and earnestly!
