What has God entrusted to you? Everything you have and all that you are is a gift from God to manage on His behalf. Your time, talent and treasure are resources the Lord has given you for this short life to use for His glory and His kingdom purposes. This is not a series on financial giving, though our use of money does reveal our hearts. This is a series on being good stewards – good managers – of every part of our lives. Come be encouraged by the manifold grace of God in your life and the privilege it is to use it – even your weaknesses and failures – for your Master.

5. Share God’s Grace

The only testimony in the Bible that is repeated at length three times is that of the Apostle Paul, in the book of Acts. There must be something in his story that is especially important and relevant for us. As we continue to prayerfully share the love of Jesus with...

4. Show God’s Love

In Luke 9 Jesus sends out the 12 disciples, in Luke 10 he sends out 72 others. These two commissions are similar and are relevant for us as Jesus sends us to our friends and neighbors with His love and grace. In the Luke 10 instructions and the parable that follows,...

"And he called the twelve together and gave them power and authority over all demons and to cure diseases, and he sent them out to proclaim the kingdom of God and to heal. And he said to them, 'Take nothing for your journey, no staff, nor bag, nor bread, nor money;...

Fully Human

"And the Word became flesh and dwelt among us, and we have seen his glory, glory as of the only Son from the Father, full of grace and truth." John 1:14 Jesus was fully God and fully human. Right. Got it. Of the same divine essence as God the Father - uncreated;...

2. Know God’s Heart

Luke 15 presents a triple-parable of Jesus that moves from 100 sheep to 10 coins to 2 sons - from less value to greater value. In all three stories something precious is lost, and when it is found there is great rejoicing. These parables show us three expressions of...
