1. Begin With the End in Mind

Discipleship is becoming like Jesus. Our goal as followers of Jesus is to become like Him in His life (character) and ministry (calling). For the next twelve weeks we will study the lives of David and of Jonah to learn and apply principles of Biblical calling – hearing God’s voice and taking steps to obey. 1 Corinthians chapter 3 is a vivid warning to Christians that we will all stand before Jesus for a final evaluation of “how we built” with our lives. Let’s “begin with the end in mind,” as we reflect on that day and present ourselves to King Jesus, ready to serve Him as He leads us!
