4. The Hallway of Your Life

King David’s life is a helpful example to us of how God develops a person for kingdom service. We’ve seen how the Lord used David’s natural abilities (sling) and spiritual gifts (harp) to serve the nation and King Saul. We’ve seen how the Lord gave David a passion for His glory and for the nation of Israel. This Sunday we will see how the Lord worked in David’s story – using both blessing and brokenness to prepare him for his assignment as the eventual king. As you look at the hallway of your life, what do the snapshots of success and suffering show you about how God has been preparing you for a specific ministry assignment?
