2. Join God in His Work

Our mission as a church is “to join God in His work of transforming people and communities through the gospel of Jesus Christ.” We draw this mission statement from the fifth chapter of John’s gospel, where Jesus explained how He did miracles and every part of His ministry. If this was how Jesus did His work, how much more should it be our way of living and serving? Come and be encouraged by the ways God invites us to join in His work in this world: 1) knowing He is always working; 2) seeing the ways He is at work (mainly in the hearts of people); and 3) enabling us to join in His work. As God’s work in history draws to its grand conclusion, let’s prayerfully commit ourselves to doing all we can to join in that work!
